It was a sunny Friday afternoon when I arrived at the auto tags shop. I exited out of my vehicle and walked to the front entrance. To my surprise, the door was locked—I panicked but quickly recollected myself and confirmed hours of operation. I walked around to an alternative entrance located on the opposite side of the building.

My wife April was a co-founder of Along the Way, but that is not necessarily why I am excited about being a supporter. I am on the Board of Along the Way as well, but that’s not the reason either. What’s my why? The reason I am whole-heartedly dedicated to this mission? I was raised as the only child of a single mom, and we didn’t have much money.
